About Us

Welcome to Rhymers Ridge, a delightful pumpkin patch and fall festival nestled on Morrow Cattle Co.’s farm in Central Missouri. Founded by Loni and Jameson Morrow, Rhymers Ridge is a dream come true—a culmination of their shared passions and a heartfelt desire to create a space for families to enjoy the beauty of autumn.

The story of Rhymers Ridge really starts with Morrow Cattle Company. Morrow Cattle Co. was founded by Jameson and continues to be a family-owned and operated business that prides itself on raising sustainable and ethically cared-for cattle. The creation of Morrow Cattle began with Jameson’s purchase of four cows, a very old tractor, renting 60 acres of overgrown farmland, and a desire to create the best beef. Although he has grown it since then, the vision of the farm has remained the same: ethically and sustainably raise cattle to produce the best quality beef. Morrow Cattle currently produces the feed for the cattle, and composts manure to recycle feed back into fertilizer and replenish organic matter back into the ground. By controlling what goes into feed and taking care of the environment, Morrow Cattle can produce the highest quality beef for consumers and make sure that they can continue to do so for generations to come.

Rhymers Ridge began as just a dream of the Morrows. They owned the land and Morrow Cattle Co., but they always envisioned starting a fall festival. The project became a fun family endeavor when they moved back to Missouri from Minnesota. After working as an attorney for over a decade, Loni was eager to try her hand at growing pumpkins. Running a fall festival combined both of their backgrounds: farming, technology, and business experience. With a “now or never” mentality, they decided to bring their vision to life in 2022, mere months after having their third child.

The name “Rhymers Ridge” is inspired by their daughter’s love of rhyming and the stunning views from the top of the ridge on their farm. They wanted to create a place where their kids can run around, explore the outdoors, and where Loni and Jameson can enjoy family time while also offering a relaxing (or exciting) environment for visitors. This expanded into all of the attractions you see at the farm today. At Rhymers Ridge, we aim to create joyful memories and a sense of community. Come and experience the magic of our pumpkin patch and fall festival, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, partake in family-friendly activities, and savor autumn in Jefferson City, the heart of Missouri.
